Guarding Video Textual Description

The sound of bee wings buzzing can be heard as a group of four or five guard bees attacks a bee that’s intruding on the landing board of a beehive.

The guard bees begin to drag the intruder, on its back, around on the landing board, all the while continuing with their attack.

The intruder has little chance of surviving, as it’s greatly outnumbered and the guard bees are clearly intent on killing it.

More guard bees come out of the hive entrance and join in the attack on the bee.

The guard bees attacking the intruder continue to drag it around on the surface of the landing board, but keep it well away from the entrance to the hive.
