Honey-Marinated Chicken

250 mL | vegetable oil | 1 cup |
30 mL | honey | 2 tbsp. |
30 mL | Dijon mustard | 2 tbsp. |
2 | garlic cloves, finely chopped | 2 |
10 mL | salt | 2 tsp. |
75 mL | red wine vinegar | ⅓ cup |
30 mL | soy sauce | 2 tbsp. |
15 mL | Worcestershire sauce | 1 tbsp. |
5 mL | black pepper | 1 tsp. |
75 mL | honey | ⅓ cup |
- Blend all ingredients except 75 mL (⅓ cup) honey; pour over chicken breasts.
- Place in plastic bag and marinate in refrigerator overnight.
- Remove chicken from marinade; discard marinade.
- Grill chicken 6 to 10 minutes, turning once and basting occasionally with 75 mL (⅓ cup) honey during last 5 minutes of grilling.
Note: Honey is a safe and wholesome food for adults and children, but it should not be fed to infants less than a year old.
